The exciting 11-inning matchup that saw the Dodgers overcome the Blue Jays by one run drew a total 51 million watchers across the US, Canadian, and Japan markets. Major League Baseball stated this is the highest-rated Fall Classic finale after the 1991 contest between the Twins and Atlanta Braves.
